I had a great time in this event, it is great to go with a group of people who are into photography. The scenery is beautiful even tho the maple leaves are not full changed color.

Trying out the Lightroom 2 with some of the old pictures I took when I first got my first SLR - K10D. I still like the Silkypix better tho but Lightroom 2 does have some neat features.
I regret that I didn’t take RAW file when I was there, clearly I didn’t know much about photography at that time (not like I know much even now); but with some editing, these photos look much better.

I have finally take some time on researching several waterfalls locations in Hamilton. Thank god the waterfalls I have chosen this time are all fairly close to the parking. I can’t really hike after yesterday’s Brampton trip…
Great Falls

Rock Chapel Falls

Webster’s Falls

Located 24 km northwest of Brampton. It sucks that they have fence out the whole ruins area beside the falls, and their “viewpoints” are all totally suck… I understand their concern of the safety issue tho, because I have climbed down from the cliff.

This is time for camping once again.
Day 1 - The weather was great until at night, which we had a crazy thunderstorm. As you can see from this picture, the storm is coming… and actually raining at the left side far away.

Day 2 - After the rain, the place was all wet and muddy. Naturally I woke up early to take some pictures.

After lunch, we headed deep into the mosquitoes’ kingdom…

Of course, I couldn’t miss the sunset and star gazing.

Day 3 - It was the highlight of the trip for sure. I had gotten to meet a pair of deers and actually walk very close to them.

Then we crossed the lake and take a hike up on the rock. We found lots of blue berries and weird mushrooms there.

Of course, we have more star gazing at night. This time I also tired using the flash light to print on the surrounding trees, but I guess I have over do it.

It is great to finally able to meet some of the guys in the Pentax Forum in real life. I would like to thank Daniel and Peter for coming out. I was able to play around Daniel’s Zenitar fisheye and Peter’s FA 400/4.5, wonderful lens!
Anyways we head to Toronto Zoo after meeting in Scarborough Town Centre, I was worrying about the weather at first since it said that it is going to be raining in the afternoon; but guess what? No rain and the weather is Great! We have a great time! At the end of the day I run out of both batteries. Well I guess I forgot to charge them after several events I have shot.
The Butterflies house is a bonus, I don’t even know they have it in the zoo.
